Scope and content
The collection consists of photographs depicting Clearwater, Wells Gray Park, and the North Thompson area from Barriere in the south to Blue River in the north. Photographs depict pioneer families and activities, scenery and natural features, industry (including railway and road construction, logging, and agriculture), buildings, homesteads, businesses, and community events. Collection includes film reels of original footage of logging and saw mill activities in the Clearwater area. Film also depicts scenes of the 1948 flood in the Clearwater area.
