        History

        The Victoria College Faculty and Staff Association held their first organizational meeting on March 25, 1949. The purposes of the association were to support and protect the interests of the faculty and staff of Victoria College, and to negotiate regulations and terms of employment. In particular, the association dealt with matters such as salaries, working conditions, grievances, social obligations. Presidents of the Association included: Harry Hickman, Robert T. Wallace, George Elliott, Lewis Clark, and Gordon Fields.
