        History

At Church Union in 1925, the Whonnock Pastoral Charge included Ruskin, Albion, Silverdale, and Stave Falls in the Mission District Municipality. From 1927 to 1930, Whonnock was included with the Haney charge. In 1930, the Whonnock-Ruskin Pastoral Charge was created, which primarily included Whonnock, Webster's Corners, and Ruskin. After being supplied from Haney and Coquitlam from 1936 to 1939, the congregation was attached to the Hatzic Pastoral Charge, in which it remained until 1952. In that year, Whonnock became a separate charge once more; it included Webster's Corners United Church from 1953 and, until about 1959, Albion United Church. On July 1, 2010, the Whonnock and Webster's Corners congregations merged to form Webster's Whonnock United Church.
