History

The Provincial Archivist was established formally as a Provincial officer in 1971. However, there have been other sisters through the years who have assumed this function, including Sister Mary Dorothea in the 1960s. The official archivists were Sister Mary Loyola and Sister Thelma Boutin. Periodically, Sister Thelma Boutin was helped by Sister Mary Petronilla, Sister Carmelita, and Sister Jeanne Jodouin. The Provincial Archivist reports to the Provincial Superior and her Council.
