Biographical history

The first worship service for what became Sea Island United Church was held in December of 1952 when a theological student held a service in the community hall on Sea Island. The following year, the congregation was formally constituted by Vancouver Presbytery. In September of 1958, Sea Island United Church dedicated its church building. From 1958 to 1983, Sea Island United Church was part of the two-point Richmond-Sea Island Pastoral Charge. From 1983 to 1985, Sea Island United Church became part of Brighouse Pastoral Charge. In 1985, it again became a part of the two-point Richmond-Sea Island Pastoral Charge.

Fonds consists of Baptism registers (1954-1960, 1958-1969) and a Burial register (1959-1966).
