Scope and content

The fonds consists of photograph negatives and prints of individuals, groups, organizations, events and scenes taken predominantly in Surrey, B.C., resulting from Curtis' activities as a freelance photographer for newspapers in Vancouver, Surrey, White Rock, and Langley. Many of the photographs of Langley in the mid 1950s were taken for advertising purposes. They depict products, places of employment, employers, and employees in Langley.
