Biographical history

Kenneth McAllister was a commercial photographer who worked in Victoria from 1933 to 1955. From 1933 to 1934 he worked for Edward Savannah's photographic studio. He then worked in partnership with Davis Carey until 1939 when McAllister opened up his own studio on Fort Street. He later relocated his studio in Vancouver.
