MacGregor, Joyce, 1917-This collection consists primarily of interdepartmental correspondence and other organizational records created by the Pacific Coast branch of the Canadian National Steamships Company (CNSS). Records were created primarily between the 1920s and the 1970s, during the CNSS' years of operation. Some records (see series 23-26) are not CNSS organizational records, and were added to the collection by other interested donors. The series' records pertain to the company's operations in Vancouver, Victoria, and the West Coast of Canada.
Series 1-21 of the collection consist of the CNSS' organizational records; they were donated by the CNSS, and arranged according to the original order indicated by the markings on the company's original file folders. Series 22 consists of miscellaneous organizational records arranged by the archivist. Series 23-26 consist of a collection of ephemera, promotional materials, photographs, and articles that were arranged on the basis of content.
The fonds consists of photographs of salvage operations (1906-1910) carried out by the Bullen Dockyard (B.C. Marine Railway Company), of the first vessels salvaged by Yarrows Limited, of other ships and salvage vessels, of Admiral Sir John E. Commerell, and of the SS Princess Louise on the Fraser River (1899).

Leonard Frank Photo StudioThe collection consists of photographs that were collected by Francis and Lily Brown when they lived in Prince Rupert from 1911 to 1917. Some of the photographs are originals, some are postcards and others are copies of the originals still held by the family. The photographs include scenes such as Crippen Cove, the arrival of the Duke of Connaught on the Princess Alice in September 1912, blasting of areas for expanding the city, 3rd Avenue in 1911 and the arrival of the first train from Winnipeg in 1914.

The bulk of the collection consists of copies of transportation industry publications, published regulatory decisions and reports and related documents, and transcripts of addresses and speeches by other individuals, along with related correspondence and newspaper and magazine clippings. There are no papers in the collection generated by Ruppenthal himself, apart from copies of letters requesting materials from corporations and regulatory bodies, and some written notes. The collection is organized in series based on the following broad subject areas: Pipelines, Civil Aeronautics Board, Ocean Transportation, Case Leads (case studies for the Stanford course Business 380), Consulting with Consultants (conference), Australian Travel Material, Emergency Board Reports, Noise and Environmental Pollution, Transportation Co-ordination and Consolidation, Transportation Economics and Regulations, Rail Mergers, Rail Transportation Labour, Skyliner (TWA employee newsletter), Roberts Bank Superport, and Air California.
The collection consists of photographs and postcards of a wide range of people, buildings, locales, and events associated with Bowen Island. These include a large number of images of: the Bowen Island Inn resort complex and ships operated by the Terminal Steam Navigation Company and later, the Union Steamship Company; churches; ferry launches operated by the Sannie Transportation Company; members of many island families; beach activities; school activities; sports; picnics; tent camping; logging; ferries; and, local areas such as Snug Cove, Deep Bay, Miller's Landing, Cowan's Point, Tunstall Bay and Hood Point.

Edmunds, R.G. Emmerson, ? Redford, James Daniel, A.I. Deacon. Extensive correspondence re: closing Cape Lazo Radiotelegraph service and moving it to Powell River (1922-1928).
The fonds consists of black and white photographs and negatives. Subjects depicted include villages, boats and ferries, landscapes, bridges, logging clearcuts, and totem poles. Some of the photos appear to be of the Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park, and the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

The collection consists of ship's plans predominantly of vessels on the West Coast of Canada, including ships constructed and repaired at shipyards of Yarrows Limited (Esquimalt, B.C.) and the Victoria Machinery Depot. Many of the plans were received from these two firms. The collection includes plans of Canadian Pacific Princess and Empress ships.
Fonds consists of Ted Clark's collection of images of Vancouver streetcars and trolley coaches, Interurban trams and trains on various lines.
