Harvey's professional reports, proposals, studies, manuals, surveys, transcripts, presentations, books and published articles, written solely or in part by Edward Harvey or by Urban Dimensions Group Inc, under his direct supervision from 1960-2006. The material predominately relates to Harvey’s interest in health care, employment equity, education, and income security issues.

The fonds consists of files documenting the silviculture issues considered by PASIS, and are arranged under the following series: Biodiversity and Forest Management, BC Reforestation Methods, Clearcutting, Forest Resource Development, Government Implementation of its Laws and Policies, Pesticide/Herbicide Concern, Public Awareness, and Correspondence and Reports.
Public Access Silviculture Information System CommitteeThe collection consists of rare and difficult to obtain limited distribution documents relating to specific case studies, most of which have been printed and distributed by governments and industrial agencies. They generally contain environmental data, and may have interpretive sections. Some documents contain copies of government permits and associated correspondence. The collection is arranged in five primary research subjects: Pulp and Paper Mills, Toxicolocy, Victoria Sewage, Coast and Island Mines, and Regional Collections. Each subject is divided into case studies. Within each case study, documents are arranged in alphabetical order by author.
The collection consists of Treaty and protocol documents, and correspondence for the Minister's use. The correspondence Martin selected for inclusion in these volumes was limited to letters containing significant argument for and against the Columbia River Treaty.
The fonds consists of the following series: Annual Environmental Reports, 1971-98; ICM staff environmental reports, 1970-2000; University reports, 1970-2000; Consultants' reports, 1970-99; Government reports, 1970-97; and Other reports, 1970-2000. These reports document the history of the mine, as well as the monitoring information, problems, and solutions it dealt with over the years. The first two series are arranged by date. The remaining series are arranged alphabetically by author. The report files often also include scientific articles, newspaper clippings, letters and related documentation.
Island Copper MineThe fonds consists of copies of government reports, minutes of meetings, notes of conversations with several fellow lobbyists including General McNaughton and Paul Martin, and correspondence received in response to his articles. The files gather much of what was written or published about the Columbia River Treaty between 1944 and 1968, and provide a unique chronology of the activities and strategies used to oppose it.
Ripley, James G.The fonds consists of the following series: Reports, 1999-2001; Field notes of interview with Angie Joe, 1999; Transcripts of interviews with First Nations, 1998-1999, including: Robert Dennis, Tom Happynook, Tom and Liz Happynook, Herb Joe, Tom Joe, Spencer Peters, Willie Sport; Transcripts of interviews with scientific researchers, 1999-2000, including: Gordon Hartman, Eugene Hetherington, Dick Leahy, Dave Narver, Charlie Scrivener, and Peter Tschaplinski.
