The fonds contains records created or received by the Society in the course of carrying out its responsibilities. The fonds consists of two series: minutes and financial records.

The fonds consists of materials collected by Walter Meyer zu Erpen for his master's degree including research for a case study, "Towards an Understanding of the Municipal Archives of 19th Century British Columbia: A Case Study of the Archives of the Corporation of the City of Nanaimo, 1875-1904" and thesis: "Study of the Archival Record and Its Context: Meaning and Historical Understanding". The research notes are arranged alphabetically on index cards. Also includes photocopies of a report by Judge Eli Harrison on charges against Police Magistrate J.P. Planta, Bureau of Statistics Returns from Nanaimo, Assessment Rolls, 1895 & 1896, correspondence dated Jan 9, 1900, Wellington, from Theo Bryant re: nomination of E & N Railroad Conductor, J. W. Coburn (resident of Victoria) as Mayor of Nanaimo due to absence of any other nominees and correspondence to Col. Hon. James Baker (Provincial Secretary, Bureau of Statistics, Victoria) from R. E. The fonds consists of records relating to the life of W.A.C. Bennett. Documented are his personal life, business ventures, community service, club affiliations, and political activities, including his terms as Member of the Legislative Assembly for South Okanagan, and as Premier of British Columbia.

Personal records consist of early correspondence and household records, as well as material which documents W.A.C. Bennett's association with freemasonry and his fundraising activities with organizations such as the Salvation Army.

Business records consist of material relating to Bennett Hardware, Bennett’s Stores, and Calona Wines.

Political records refer to Bennett's tenure as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for South Okanagan, as Premier and as leader of the Opposition. Also relevant are records referring to the passage of a number of Municipal Acts and Bennett’s relationship with Federal politics.

The collection consists of a Calendar of Events for British Columbia's Centennial Year Celebrations, including a list of events taking place in Langley Municipality, B.C., 2 commercial invitations to attend "British Columbia's 100th Birthday Party", signed by the Lieutenant Governor and Premier of B.C., and notes from a speech made by Mr. A.C. Hope, Chairman of the Langley Centennial Committee, on Sunday, April 27th, 1958, the "Centennial Day of Prayer". Collection also includes 3 promotional postcards outlining the history of Fort Langley, each in their original commemorative envelopes post-marked at Fort Langley, B.C., May 8th, 1958.

This fonds consists of records collected by Terry Brennan in his efforts to preserve the cultural heritage of Delta, particularly the lives of the pioneering families. Consequently, the records accumulated by Mr. Brennan represent several families, and activities, which contributed to the development of Delta. Three series have been identified according to types of creators -- Private Records and Municipal Records -- and by media -- Photographs and other graphic material. Private records include both business records (British America Cannery), and personal papers (T.E. Ladner, Terry Brennan). Municipal Records include marriage and court records.
