Also includes a copy of an Earlscourt apple box logo and sound recordings: including Preservation of Photographs (CBC, Feb. 22, 1989), CBC history program on Thomas Spence, NDP political party meting in Lytton, Indian music of Pacific North West, George clutesi, Indian stories by Mike Brown and Lena Dunstan, and Ordering of the Diaconate-A.W. Harding. Also includes 12 reel-to-reel tapes of recordings of Indian Education classes at Lytton Elementary School, and eleven photographs of the 1998 emergency food lift to Boston Bar. Includes swimming pool being rebuilt, CN swinging bridge across Thompson River, and two photographs of a mud-flood down Lytton's main street. Also group of men at a hospital function. Five slides of Niakia River rafting and one of Jade Springs from the air. Also 4 maps: one is a sketch of the homes on the westside of the Fraser from Lytton to Lillooet, one is a weather map (1954), and one is a 1952 survey map showing all rivers, creeks, mountains, reserves from Pavilion to Kamloops and from Douglas Lake to Keefers.

Fonds consists of hand-written original manuscripts by Betty Burton. Includes Betty's story of teaching in a one-room schoolhouse in 1928 in Fort Fraser, a story of Lillian Alling's walk from New York to Dawson in a bid to reach Russia, a history of the Young Ranger Bands, a description of Betty's trip with family from England to Oyama in 1914, a description of two camping holidays in 1944 in Mara and Mabel Lake, a description of a trip down the Shuswap River in a row boat in 1919, and a description of the natural geography of the North Okanagan. It includes a few notes and several lengthy letters to her parents describing in detail experiences during a cruise on the 'Aurania' from Montreal to the Caribbean and around South America to San Francisco and Vancouver in 1940. Fonds also includes certificates from Enderby High School and Provincial Normal School (1922, 1925), a list of settlers' effects (1947) and an autograph album with original drawing and paintings and notes from friends in 1925-1931.

It has been arranged into three sub-series: All in A Lifetime, My Life in the Army, and Travel. The Writing series consists of his published and unpublished work, and background material for it. The series shows his interest in making new generations of Victoria residents aware of their citys history and aware of World War I history. It has been arranged into two sub-series: Articles and Stories, and Broadcasts. Records include typed manuscripts, clippings of Archies published articles, photographs including photograph albums, diaries, scrapbooks, war medals, and ephemera.
