Part of CJVI application to JJ Gillin Award Committee of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters. 1) CJVI constructed a nuclear fallout shelter, and Joe Easingwood and CJVI colleague Nevin Gilmer lived in it for a week, to demonstrate that it was possible for ordinary people at home. August 1960. 2) Fundraising for Victoria University (The University of Victoria, UVic).
