Fonds consists of the financial records (2 bank books) of the Vernon-Okanagan Industrial Exposition Association from 1947-1948. One bank book contains the debits and credits of the association's Bank of Montreal account. No explanations for all incoming and outgoing monies are listed. The second book is for the Association's CIBC account. This book is set up like an account ledger, separating various categories in order to track the monies collected and spent through each. Includes accounts for the rental of commercial space, advertising, car ticket sales, gate receipts, program sales, treasury chest accounts, miscellaneous expenses, and food concessions.

The credit ledger contains the detailed credit accounts of individual customers, and lists dates of purchases and payments on account, balances, and credit standings (good, bad or overdue).

The majority of the correspondence is from the secretary of the WRAC in Vancouver, Mary Hurrell, and concerns many of the projects that the sub-committee was involved with. Includes information on the distribution of Blue Books, the establishment of a price control board, the establishment of a federal Rations Board, and the possiblity of a national housing survey.
