The fonds consists of one minute book documenting the functions and activities of the South Delta Community Parks Association from 1964-1977.

This fonds consists of records collected by Terry Brennan in his efforts to preserve the cultural heritage of Delta, particularly the lives of the pioneering families. Consequently, the records accumulated by Mr. Brennan represent several families, and activities, which contributed to the development of Delta. Three series have been identified according to types of creators -- Private Records and Municipal Records -- and by media -- Photographs and other graphic material. Private records include both business records (British America Cannery), and personal papers (T.E. Ladner, Terry Brennan). Municipal Records include marriage and court records.

The fonds consists largely of correspondence and financial records that pertain to Thomas Ladner's business ventures in salmon canning and farming. Thomas Ladner's correspondence April 28, 1892 to November 11, 1896 (of which this archives holds photocopies) is made up of letters sent to Robert Paterson Rithet, Ladner's agent and business partner in the Victoria Canning Co. Ltd. The financial records largely concern Thomas' farming operation, of which the ledger of 1919-1924 provides the most complete documentation. Also included in the fonds are historical notes written by Leon Ladner and Yvonne Killam about the Thomas Ladner family, and photographs of Thomas Ladner, his immediate family and descendants, his farm, and Ladner family friends and activities.

Fonds consists of two scrapbooks relating to the activities of the Vancouver Wireless Station Elementary School Parent- Teacher Association from 1950 to 1962. The ledger was used for several purposes between 1870 and 1887 which reflect some of the several roles William played in the community: farmer, school district trustee, and police magistrate. The ledger contains copies of minutes of meetings of Trenant School District trustees held in 1874, the earliest existing records for the Delta school district.

The collection consists of 39 copy negatives with 93 matching slides of Delta pioneers, schools and historical locations in Delta, and five cassette tapes of interviews with Delta pioneers conducted by grade five students of Holly Elementary School in Delta. The collection is the result of a centennial year project called "Those Were the Days" carried out by the students under the direction of their teacher Mr. G. Johnson. Photographs include copies of historical images as well as contemporary portraits and scenes. A project list of the images is available. People interviewed for the project were: Murray Davie, Tony and May Lagemaat, Jean Atkinson, Bertha Reynolds, John and Warrena Nottingham, Edith Bell, Mrs. Ellis Telfer, Mrs. Albert Weaver, Ed Vidulich and Dominic Bussanich.

The fonds consists of a diary kept by Frank Fisher. Part of the diary appears to be written at the time he was a bookkeeper at Deas Island in 1912; this section of the diary is written in pen. Other entries written in pencil chronicle the day to day activities of farm life. It is likely, therefore that this section was written after Mr. Fisher returned from the war and started farming Deas Island. The fonds also consists of a letter found in Mr. Fisher's diary, written to him by a relative or friend, Kathleen, living overseas.

The collection consists of maps and diagrams published by the Geological Survey of Canada about the geomorphology and tidal action at the mouth of the Fraser River (reproduced "to accompany a report by W.A. Johnson"), a hand painted canvas map about "Proposed New Fraser River Tunnel and North Arm Crossing", and a publication "The Tides and Tidal Streams" by the Department of Naval Service, Ottawa.

This fonds consists of a collection of eight police ledgers or 'occurance books' dated between 1953 to 1959. They are detailed records of the police officers activities while on patrol duty and outline petty and serious criminal activities in Delta. The ledgers also record missing persons, requests for surveillance, general broadcasts to all officers, and weather. Records are arranged in one series and contain file level descriptions.

One letter, dated, June 8, 1911 is written to Mrs. Whitworth in regards to the death of her daughter Olive Whitworth who was a former clerk at Fisher's Drug Store and the other letter is written to the National Drug C. on June 15, 1912 regarding veterinarian Mr. Ottewell.
