Copper Valley School photograph collection

The collection consists of b&w photos of the ongoing construction of the school, action shots of the workers, student activities: picnics, proms, graduations, travels. Events recorded by Kenneth Stone form a major part of the 4 cm of pages of transparencies. Coloured photographs of some of the Copper Valley School Association annual alumni/ae reunions add to the collection.

Haiti Ministry photograph collection

The collection records some of the activities in Haiti of the Sisters from St. Josephs Province. The album of photographs was organized to give visitors an overview of the personnel and efforts in Haiti. The scrapbooks contain newspaper articles describing the needs, history, and culture of Haiti.

Holy Cross Mission (Holy Cross, Alaska) photograph collection

The collection mainly consists of b&w photographs of the area, buildings, staff, students, and village. Photographs of the 1980s and 1990s are usually coloured and record particular activities: church, school, social. Several albums feature creative covers, handmade by students or villagers. Some of the photographs were developed at the mission itself. About 7 cm of pages of coloured transparencies record scenery, buildings, and people.

Ka Ka Wis Family Development Centre photograph collection

The collection consists of coloured photographs (mainly 4 X 4) that cover many aspects of life at Ka Ka Wis. Staff members at Ka Ka Wis took many photographs of the area, the inlets and islets, boats, buildings, grounds of this West Coast site. The photographs also document much of the evolution of the program during the years (1973-1987) that the Sisters of St. Ann were involved with the program.

Mount St. Angela photograph collection

The collection consists of exterior and interior views of the building, images of the grounds, photographs of the Sisters. There are reproductions of Baroness Angela Burdett Coutts, for whom the building (originally the Angela College) was named.

Mount St. Mary Convent photograph collection

The collection consists of b&w images of the building, the chapel, staff, visitors, and various activities involving the residents. The Sisters kept particular photographs to record significant events.

Queen of Angels School photograph collection

Sacred Heart School (Prince George, B.C.) photograph collection

The collection comprises b&w photographs of the area, buildings, and incomplete sets of class pictures. Coloured transparencies are mostly of the area. The album records school activities primarily. The images are records of conditions the Sisters met in 1949 and are remembrances of subsequent encounters and events.

Sisters of St. Ann (Anchorage, Alaska) photograph collection

The collection records the urban and rural ministries of the Sisters. Fr. R.K. Smith, O.S.A., took many b&w photographs in the Bristol Bay area. Other graphics are of Glennallen, Valdez, Cordova, Talkeetna, Trappers Creek, Palmer, Wasilla, the Kenai Peninsula. About 8 cm of pages of transparencies add to the collection.

Skagway Sanatorium photograph collection

The collection helps document the state of the buildings and the efforts to make them comfortable for patients. The b&w photographs portray the Skagway area and buildings, personnel, and Sitka. Some coloured transparencies record Sitka scenery.

St. Ann's Academy (New Westminster, B.C.) photograph collection

The collection consists of exterior and interior views of the building, images of the grounds and the general area, staff and student activities. Photographs of the fire of the 1944 and the tearing down of the building are among the images. The collection also includes photographs of staff, students, and activities at St. Peters (parochial) School (New Westminster).

The collection has images of the Vancouver area, early buildings, Sisters and students, First Communion pictures (groups and individuals), sports groups, graduation pictures, and Commercial Class graduates and trophies record changes through the years. Many photographs have complete identification.
