The collection consists of maps, principally of Esquimalt, including municipal government maps and plans, maps of land expropriated by the federal government (for military purposes), and maps of land annexed by the municipality in 1968. The collection also includes fire insurance and street maps of Esquimalt and area.
The fonds consists of photographs of vessels in Esquimalt Graving Dock; William Robert Nunn and his grandfather Robert Henry Nunn; and his house. Also includes Nunn family documents (copies); a scrapbook and clippings relating to the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II; and notes on his grandfather and the history of his house.
