Series consists of four subseries: A. Youth groups, 1920-1949; B. Women’s groups, 1925-1999; C. The Missionary Guild, 1954-2006; D. Other committee and groups, 1930-2005.

Youth groups are the Beaver Club, 1920-1921, and the Young Peoples Department, 1923-1949. Women’s groups are the Ladies Aid, 1925-1983, the Mary and Martha Guild, 1964-1983, and the Women’s Auxiliary, 1983-1999. The Mary and Martha Guild and the Ladies' Aid group merged to become the Womens' Auxiliary in 1983. Women’s groups sub-series consists of minute books, account books, daybooks, financial records, reports, notes and other. Missionary Guild records include minute books, correspondence, photographs, donation records, financial records and publications. Correspondence is administrative and financial and includes letters from missionaries Muriel Harmon and Bob & Sue Pritchard.

This fonds documents the activities of the Victoria Limners Society from 1972-2008 and includes correspondence, meeting minutes, financial records and society filings. It also contains records related to various group exhibits, including the Limners’ 25th anniversary exhibition in 1996, as well as records related to a book and video produced about the group. A small number of newspaper clippings, exhibition pamphlets, various editions of a booklet on the Limners Society artists and black and white photographs showing Limner members at exhibitions and meetings can be found in this fonds. The series shows his interest in making new generations of Victoria residents aware of their citys history and aware of World War I history. It has been arranged into two sub-series: Articles and Stories, and Broadcasts. The fonds is arranged in 12 series: Alpha-numeric series (A1-W27), 1959-93; Derrick Mallard series, 1947-2001; Gwen Mallard series, 1968-97; B.C. Environmental Associations, 1972-2000; BC Environmental newsletters, 1970-2000; Community Associations, 1990-2000; Capital Regional District, 1990-2000; Foundations, 1994-2000; Issues, 1973-2000; Land preservation, 1990-2000; Awards, 1992-2001; Photographs. The Alpha-Numeric system was established by Derrick Mallard in the early years of his environmental work. The vast majority of the files were left un-filed, and constitute the Mallards research files relating to their C.A.S.E. work. These have been arranged in series reflecting the subject groupings of his early alpha-numeric system. Administrative files relating to C.A.S.E. have been arranged in the B.C. Environmental Associations series. Approximately 300 reports and publications have been transferred to Special Collections, and cataloged as the Derrick Mallard Collection. They are on a wide variety of environmental subjects, including: water, sewage, transportation, parks, farming, noise, fishing, endangered species and global issues.

The fonds consists of correspondence and household finances, 1931-1951; Scott's 11 published scores, 1929-1931; Scott's 17 manuscript scores, 1931-1937; records of the Victoria Plectral Orchestra, 1935-1946; music students register, 1930-1949; diaries, 1931, 1934-1951. The diaries include short daily entries about weather, students, appointments and household activities. On occasion, the back page of annual diaries contain a list of items such as orchestra compositions and rents paid. The donation also included a tin sign for Scott's music studio: "Percy Scott Studio: mandolin, guitar etc."
