The collection consists of documents and photographs intentionally assembled collection of discrete items documenting the following areas: the occupational pursuits of B.C. and Yukon Jewry; the organized religious life of Jews in B.C.; leisure activities; and the membership and good works of organizations formed to aid and represent the Jewish community, such as the National Council of Jewish Women. There is also a wide range of individual and family portraits, and photographs of headstones.

Club members include a wide range of individuals from the business sector including members from various pioneering families.

Fonds consists of laboratory manuals published by the UBC Department of Physics between 1949 and 1966 (most dated 1957-1962); mimeographed hand-outs for experiments and other assignments; hand-written lecture notes; and a 1944 Canadian Army physics laboratory manual. Many of the manuals are annotated. The manuals are bound, but the notes and hand-outs are loose; all have been placed in acid-free folders. They are arranged by course number, and then chronologically; unnumbered materials, and folders containing unsorted material from various courses, were placed at the end.
Fonds also includes promotional materials, many of which relate specifically to the Department of Physics at university-wide Open Houses, annual reports from the Department of Physics, notes made by Professor John Warren regarding x-rays and particle physics, as well as photographs taken of individuals, groups, and events related to the Department of Physics.

Records generated by the National Council for Jewish Women Canada are included as the policies, procedures and activities of the local branch influenced, and were influenced by the larger administrative body. The records were generated by members of the Board of Directors and members at large. Series 1, minutes, contains a fairly complete record of proceedings from the 1950s to the 1990s while earlier minutes may be found embedded in Series 3, President’s subject files and Series 12, Program, project and subject files.

The logbooks and trip registers chronicle the general activities of the Varsity Outdoor Club and the activities at their various cabin locations, with comments by many who use the facilities. The files on meeting minutes contain not only minutes, but also sometimes copies of the VOCene, the club’s newsletter, or advertisement and informational material related to the organization’s activities. The photograph albums contain black and white as well as colored prints from several decades of the club's existence.

The fonds consists of records created and accumulated by Delgado since 1964. The fonds contains correspondence, personal records, photographs, slides, negatives, video recordings, audio recordings of interviews with Delgado, and files focusing on: projects (shipwreck and historic sites), expeditions, lectures and education, and writing. The fonds also focuses on Delgado’s work with the National Park Service in the US, his work with the Vancouver Maritime Museum and with the Institute for Nautical Archaeology. Records also focus on Delgado’s work on The Sea Hunters television program.
