Jordon, Mabel E., 1908-1993Collection consists primarily of records generated or used during the period of the Second World War by the Vilcsek family in Budapest, Hungary. These include vital statistics and personal records of the Vilcsek family, photographs, and postcards mailed to the family from Ernő Vilcsek while he was in a labour camp in Hungary. Collection also consists of artworks, several on the theme of the Holocaust, created by Eva Kero after her immigration to Vancouver, BC.

Teitelbaum, RebeccaThis series contains letters to and from members of the Seidelman family, especially members in Winnipeg and Minneapolis; records relating to Harry Seidelman’s career; financial records; receipts; published articles concerning Seidelman family members; and schooling records. The series also includes letters to and from William Seidelman, Sr. from the 1889 and 1890s; some of the letters come from Seattle. The CD-R contains family records digitized by the family ca. 2007. Some of the originals of the digitized records on CD-R are part of the fonds.

The fonds consists of the personal papers of Helen Chambers as well as papers accumulated by her regarding Bowen Island civic societies. Textual materials include legal papers and correspondence relating to land use and taxation (1947-1967), minutes and constitutions of civic societies (1967-1978), and notes from a Bowen Island Historians research project.
Chambers, HelenThe fonds consists of textual records and other media created by Harry and Valerie Jerome, which reflect the various facets of Harry Jerome’s life, including academics, athletics, and community and national sports initiatives. While most of the records reflect Harry’s life, the fonds also includes records that pertain to Valerie Jerome’s life and her own athletic career, such as newspaper clippings. In addition, a biographical manuscript, which is Valerie Jerome’s written iteration of the story of the Jerome family and Harry’s life, is included in the fonds. The fonds also includes records that were created by the Harry Jerome Commemorative Society and the Black Business and Professional Association’s Harry Jerome Awards.
