Orage, 1933-1934, manuscripts by Armstrong for "Focus" 21, "The Literary Digest", etc. (1945-1970) plus a review, a note, and a mss for "The Poetry Review" by G.S. Fraser, 1950-1952. Also included in the collection are enclosures from "Ten Contemporaries" [1932 & 1933]. These enclosures consist of research material and correspondence: re the publication of the two volumes, and the writers included in them.

The fonds consists of three scrapbooks, using the Official Telephone Directory Quebec for December 1915, June 1916, and July 1917. They document World War I, including clippings, honour rolls, correspondence, notes, obituaries, articles and columns relating to the progress of the war and, particularly, to news of men and women from Lennoxville, Quebec, and nearby areas who participated in the war.

The fonds consists of contact sheets of 19 rolls of film taken during Brown's trip to China, including views of palaces, Buddhist temples, mountains in northern China, the Great Wall of China, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Canton. Each has an accompanying page, identifying the photographs, copied from Brown's field notes, copies of the original 35 mm negatives (reverse view), and a photocopy of a map of China with Brown's route traced in red. Also included are six photographs, made from the negatives, for an article in "The Ring Research Bulletin", and given to SC by UVic Public Relations in 1993.

There is also a signed letter from Anne Harvie Ross Foster, (Mrs W. Garland Foster) 1875-, (now Ann Hanley) to Flora Hamilton Burns together with a typed carbon reply from Miss Burns, in which she talks about "The Mohawk Princess".

The fonds consists of records of the Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary's). Primarily, the fonds contains the official war diaries kept by the regiment during World War Two. The diaries contain the daily logs, intelligence reports, orders, and newsletters, as well as records of individual experiences, of the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Battalions. A collection of maps and aerial photographs accompany these war diaries. The fonds also contains regimental records on training, dress regulations, personnel, the Bay Street Armoury, finances, and regimental correspondence. Additionally, the fonds includes the original manuscript and correspondence pertaining to historian Dr. Reginald Roy's book, "Ready for the Fray (Deas Gu Cath): the History of the Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary's) 1920-1955". Also included are the regimental publications, The Brazier, The Courtenay Camp Chronicle, and The Maple Leaf. The fonds is arranged into 22 alphabetically organized series consisting of records generated and utilized by the Canadian Scottish Regiment from its creation in 1920 to the present.
