Fonds reflects the life and activities, in a public as well as private capacity, of the former City of North Vancouver mayor, John Edwin Loucks, spanning the years from the late 1940s into the first decade of the twenty-first century. Loucks' records are arranged in twelve series. The records consist of correspondence, agendas, photographs, cards, certificates and honours, events programmes, meeting minutes and reports, maps, pamphlets and newspaper clippings.
Loucks, E.J.The fonds consists of chronological operational records related to the business operations of the Lower Lonsdale Business Association. These operational records include minutes of meetings, memos, policies, surveys, correspondence, financial records, membership lists, grant applications, press releases and newspaper clippings. The fonds also consists of records related to the establishment and operation of the Lower Lonsdale Community Policing Centre and the organization of the Lower Lonsdale Fall Festival.
Lower Lonsdale Business AssociationThe fonds consists of administrative records of the club, including minutes, reports, correspondence, financial statements, cabin visitor books, summit registers, membership records and others. It also contains many hundreds of photographs, glass plate negatives, films and other moving images, as well as publications of the BCMC, including the B.C. Mountaineer, the BCMC Newsletter, as well as hiking and climbing guides in whose publication the BCMC was involved. It also contains many news cuttings relating to hiking and climbing in British Columbia and activities of club members. These records document many aspects of the club's activities including their involvement in mountaineering, advocacy for land conservation, and natural history. The fonds also contains the records of Mary and David Macaree which they created and accumulated during the course of researching their publications '103 Hikes in Southwestern British Columbia' and '109 Walks in B.C.'s Lower Mainland'.
British Columbia Mountaineering ClubThe Harbottle Family Fonds contains the personal papers of Harbottle family members. The bulk of the material is associated with Jeffery Harbottle’s various projects and interests. Included are records related to the M.V. Reliant, the restoration of the L6 Union Engine that originally powered it, the restoration of the Diamond T dairy truck that was owned by the family business, Jeff’s 1932 Plymouth PB rumble seat coupe, and his general interest in ships and other forms of mechanised transportation. The smaller part of the fonds relates to records connected to other family members, including family photographs, civic activities, and the dairy business.

Pacific Great Eastern RailwayThe fonds consists of letters sent to Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Routledge of Vancouver in 1921, including a covering letter from his sister in Liverpool and condolences sent on the death of their father, Henry B. Routledge. There are family photographs, mostly unidentified. There is a newspaper clipping ca. 1915 of the wedding of Sgt. and Mrs. Routledge, and a typed itinerary of a trip to England and Scotland. Photographs were transferred to the photograph collection.

Includes working cards for Ian MacLean for Division No.1 of the Amalgamated Association of Street Electric and Motor Coach Employees of America (1945-1946) and Don MacLean (1961). Honourary picket card for "Comrade John Maclean" also included.

Sweeny (family)Fonds consists of records relating to shipbuilding, mostly of Burrard Dry Dock during World War II. It includes information on ship construction and costs and a number of significant issues related to change and development in the yards.
Wardle, WilliamFonds consists of account books, clipping, framed photograph, and other material, mostly related to M.T. Davie's employment as Secretary-Treasurer of Burrard Dry Dock from 1926-1946. Most of the records were in four looseleaf binders, from which they have been removed for preservation. Material in each book is arranged in a roughly alphabetical fashion, and includes repair accounts, rates of repairs, estimates of costs, items in storage, schedules of charges and prices, rates of pay, comparisons of costs, dry dock and crane tariffs, and contracts to purchase. There does not appear to be a clear distinction by either date or subject between the types of records in each binder.
Davie, M.T.Collection consists of photographs documenting the growth of the District of North Vancouver, particularly in the years following World War II, which saw extremely rapid development. These were taken by different departments to serve as a visual reference for various projects.
