William Kuchma fonds

The fonds consists of a navigation record and of a map which describe the 1945 Hamburg Bombing Operation.It also includes articles describing the events occurring during the Hamburg Operation as well as congratulatory letters addressed to William Kuchma for his distinguished flying medal. In addition the fonds includes photographs of Kuchma in his RCAF uniform.

Ernie Taylor fonds

The fonds consists of personal papers related to Ernie Taylor's service in WWII; a history of and records related to the RCAF Station at Boundary Bay; research notes, field books and reports related to his BA and MA theses; reports and notes related to his employment with Canadian Wildlife Service; and photographs of Delta residents and landscapes. The fonds includes Taylor's B.A. Thesis "Winter Food Habits of the Ring Necked Pheasant in the Lower Fraser Valley", his M.A. Thesis "A Study on the Factors Affecting the Reproduction and Survival of the Ring Necked Pheasant in the Lower Fraser Valley", and a review for CWS titled "Wildlife and Recreation in Boundary Bay".

Collection consists of copy negatives and copy prints of images from Mr. McConnell's album that pertain to his service at R.C.A.F. Station Boundary Bay, and a photocopy of the entire album made in 1983. The album records Mr. McConnell's service in the R.C.A.F. from March 13, 1941 to November 3, 1945. The captioned images document the kind of training men received under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan, and some of the action McConnell saw overseas. Included are class photographs, photographs of air crews and aircraft and places visited on leave, aerial views of Boundary Bay Airfield and Delta, and newsclippings that record bombing runs and the fate of friends in the airforce.
