The collection consists of photographs of agriculture, arts and crafts, business and industry, educational activities and facilities, events, forestry, government activity, aboriginal peoples, buildings, mining, organizations, medical facilities, people, recreation and sports, religion and churches, transportation, utilities, and wildlife and conservation in Creston and the Creston Valley, including the communities of Lister, Erickson, Wynndel, Boswell, Sirdar, Crawford Bay, and Riondel.

The collection consists of photographs of historical landmarks and heritage houses in the Creston Valley taken as a part of an archival heritage project.
