Collection consists of researchers/visitors book for the Helen Dawe collection, correspondence, notes, photographs, brochures, calendars, newspaper clippings of people, places and events in Sechelt and District and the Sunshine Coast. Mrs. Steele was a very active member of the St. Mary's Hospital Society and her collection reflects this interest.

The collection consists of documents, etc. concerning Sechelt and District's development and growth, residents' remembrances of early life on the Sunshine Coast and Helen Dawe's family history. The collection consists of 29 series and includes notes by Helen Dawe, correspondence, printed material, business records, government reports, Sechelt Council and other organisations' minutes and reports, photographs, maps, and plans, oral history tapes, slides and films, scrapbooks, books, newspapers, and local newspaper microfilms, artifacts and ephemera.

Collection consists of government records, documents, photographs, correspondence, and brochures related to the Sechelt area and the history of the Sunshine Coast. Donors include the University Women's Club and St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary.
