The collection consists of an essay (missing the title page and the first 11 pages) on the history of Langley, B.C., including topics Beaver Women's Institute, County Line Community Association, a map of a portion of the township, a list of pioneers, brief histories of Aldergrove, the Mennonites, important local families, churches, and schools, and comments on municipal libraries and industries.
The collection consists of maps and plans primarily of the Langley area and of the Fraser Valley including townsite maps, lot plans (including Hudson's Bay Company farm lots), and other land use maps of Langley, Fort Langley and area, topographic maps, and road and street maps.

(1960), a history of Fort Langley, a programme from the 1953 Langley High School Students' Council presentation of "H.M.S. Pinafore", a copy of the Fraser Valley Flood Record produced by the BCER's "Family Post" (1948), a history of Langley written for the township's 50th anniversary in 1923, and copies of extracts from the township of Langley Council Minutes from December 30, 1895, to April 1, 1899 [ca. 1978].

The fonds consists of incomplete history notes on various people buried in Wallsworth Cemetery, Langley, B.C., a letter from Mrs. W.B. Dawkins to the Municipality of Langley regarding locating the cemetery and graves of pioneers in what used to be called Fernridge, B.C., and sketched maps of rural lots in Langley, B.C.
The collection consists of brief typewritten histories of Langley, B.C. and area churches, including Derby Church (Anglican), St. George's Anglican Church, Church of the Redeemer, and St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church , a pamphlet on Reverend William Burton Crickmer, pioneer minister at Derby, B.C. in 1859 and Yale, B.C. in 1860, and a 1968 register of people who attended Fort Langley churches prior to 1910, with signatures, names, and dates of church attendance.
The collection consists of copies of the original signatures of the 29 petitioners who requested the incorporation of the Langley and Derby district into a municipality on March 23, 1872, and typed lists of the petitioners' names .
