Court Nanaimo Foresters' Home No. 5886The fonds consists of records relating to Nancy Greene's ski career and her involvement in local politics and community advocacy. Records include a scrapbook (1986-1987) depicting the growth and development of Whistler, correspondence to and from the Department of Highways regarding the Duffy Lake route (1988), correspondence and minutes relating to Nancy Greene's term as a Whistler School Trustee (1981). Also included are some records of the Garibaldi Olympic Development Association (1968) and the Garibaldi Olympic Committee's bid for the Winter Olympics (1980). Local government records include Official Community Plans of Whistler 1974, 1976, and 1982, and a report entitled "Proposed Ski Development of Blackcomb Mountain." Fonds includes records relating to Al Raine's term on the Advisory Parks and Recreation Commission (1976-1983).
Greene, Nancy, 1943-Fonds consists of records generated in the course of the Whonnock Community Association's Historical Project, 1985. Fonds consists of photographic prints, audio cassette tapes with summaries, maps and textual materials. The textual materials consist of copies of church records, post office records, newspaper clippings, CP contracts and timetables, land registry records, collector's rolls, petitions, lists of businesses, sections of various BC Directories from 1891 to 1949, public school lists, visitors books and minutes. Also included are handwritten notes related to interviews and other research. An index box contains both a chronological index and an alphabetical index of important dates and people in Whonnock's history. Interviewees include Brian Byrnes, Isobel Byrnes, Cecil Blois, Olive Leaf, Mary Elliot (nee Drewry), Jean Eustice (nee Black), Helen Kolberg (nee Black), Harry Pullen, Charles Miller, and Mark Desrochers. There is also a variety of original and photocopied correspondence, many letters including reminiscences.

Fonds consists of textual, photographic, cartographic, electronic and promotional films/video recordings related to the mining operations of Cassiar Asbestos Mining Corporation (CAMC) and creation of Cassiar townsite. CAMC records primarily consist of records related to mining operations including construction, engineering, daily mining operations, administration of CAMC, tallies of extractions, labour and union activities, corporate events and visits by dignitaries. Townsite records are primarily visual representations of townsite construction, including the creation of health, education and community services including Cassiar's private hospital, school, library, as well as townsite images. Photographs include documentation of natural and man-made landscapes within the Cassiar region of Northern BC. Other holdings include a near complete run of Cassiar's community newspaper.
