Welch (family)Fonds consists of audio, video, and visual materials created by Basil and Edythe Hartley. Materials include video footage of the Haisla people, which Hartley shot while working in Kitimaat from 1941-1944, a voiceover for the footage which Hartley’s widow, Edythe McClure, created in ca. 1983, a letter, and three photographs of Kitimaat people and landscapes. The three audio cassettes all contain the same 1983 recording.

Nicholson, Wilfred, 1908-The fonds consists of a volume in which are recorded the accounts (1872-1904) of William Cartwright and the personal diary of daily activities (1882-1883) of Mary Cartwright. Volume also includes some poems and recipes. The original use of the volume appears to be the 1869 accounts of a general store, possibly the Horne Store. The accounts record many purchases by Chinese and Indians. Newsclippings (1913-1941) have been pasted over parts of the early 1869 accounts.
