Includes the building of the new Thompson Bridge and the construction around the old hospital, the filming of the movie 'The Pledge', the reaction ferry, the Chinese mining area across the river, and the Teit dedication ceremony at Spences Bridge, Lytton First Nation Band office, Millenium Book signing ceremonies, the old nurse's residence, before and after it's destruction, Chief Alice Munro and Elder Mildred Michell, and the old Earlscourt Ranchhouse. Also includes the fish wheel at Siska and an audio tape of church ceremony with Rev. Stanley Higgs at St. George's School.

Bendall, Frank, 1927-The fonds consists of minutes (1900-1966), financial records (1900-1968), Bastion guest books (1923-1978), records of attendance (1949-1964), subject files (1906-1977), Honeymoon Book (1953-1963), and oral interview tapes. Subject files include accounts, correspondence, minutes, 1913 constitution, resolutions, inventory of artifacts, photographs of the 1974 move of the Bastion to the present location, and ephemera.
Native Sons of British Columbia. Nanaimo Post No. 3Fonds consists of images of the 1960 fire that razed most of Chinatown. June Leahy, who took all the colour slides, used one of the earliest SLR Pentax cameras while Bill Leahy, who took most of the black and white photographs, used a Leica camera. The photographs of the day after the fire were taken by June. The Leahys were friends with RCMP Staff Sergeant Earle Sarsiat who notified Bill Leahy of the fire; the Leahys were on site soon after the fire was reported.
Leahy, June, 1917-The collection consists of photographs of historical landmarks and heritage houses in the Creston Valley taken as a part of an archival heritage project.

Monte Creek Hotel (Monte Creek, B.C.)Collection consists of photographs and wallpaper samples taken by Nanaimo Community Archives staff during renovations to Beban House in 1996. Beban House was built in the 1930s by Frank Beban. Beban arrived in Nanaimo from his native New Zealand around 1908 and worked in the mines. He made his wealth, however, as a sawmill owner. Beban House was built on 160 acres in Northfield and cost $25,000. Today, the house is used by Tourism Nanaimo and other community organizations. Photographs are views of the upstairs portion only of Beban House.

The drawings were created by Hofman for the Heritage Commission's publication Columns, Cornices and Coal (1998).

The fonds comprises the business records of Sharp & Thompson – later Thompson, Berwick, Pratt & Partners – dating from 1912 to 1974. The records consist of signed contracts, specifications, minutes, correspondence, quotations, financial statements, reports, signed Forms of Tender, memoranda, photographs and architectural drawings. They document the planning for and construction of the University of British Columbia buildings designed and overseen by the architectural firm, and also document the architectural firm's activities on buildings in Vancouver, the province of British Columbia and elsewhere. Some of the files represent unsuccessful bids on jobs. There are original, blueprint and ozalid architectural drawings in this collection. The drawings of University buildings consist mainly of original drawings and blueprints. The drawings of buildings in Vancouver and elsewhere are few in number and are mostly ozalid reproductions.

Canadian Western Lumber Company LimitedThe Riverview Hospital Historical Society collection consists of the records collected and maintained by the Riverview Hospital Historical Society (RHHS). Through their museum and library, the RHHS acquired and stewarded records documenting the history of Riverview Hospital, the British Columbia School of Psychiatric Nursing, and the history of psychiatric care in British Columbia.
The collection consists of a range of documentary forms, including: reports, theses, newspaper clippings, newsletters, publications, correspondence, manuals, plans and drawings, directories, inventories, procedures, programmes, annuals, invitations, motion pictures, personal narratives, staff lists, minutes, study notes, scrapbooks, ephemera, and photographs depicting aspects of social and administrative life at the hospital and school.

School of Psychiatric NursingThe subseries consists of 13 b&w glass plate negatives depicting the West Lawn building, which opened in 1913, as well as interior shots of various labs and lounges, and the dormitory. There is also a photograph of an unidentified building, and an interior shot of the shoe workshop at the Provincial Hospital for the Insane in New Westminster, B.C.
