The grant applications and publications series together provide an overview of the range and direction of Roberts' research interests. While most of the series are based on record type, the Gertrude Richardson research and Leicester Peace Society Research series are arranged by subject and contain correspondence and grant applications; the Gertrude Richardson Research series also contains conference papers. The Women's movement and Peace movement series both contain correspondence, although some correspondence pertaining to them will be found in the miscellaneous and family correspondence series. While the miscellaneous and family correspondence series consist almost entirely of inward correspondence, both contain a few printouts of e-mail correspondence or letters from Roberts which shed light on her daily life and research projects. The Canadian Women Peace Activists series contains interviews about and with Canadian women who were peace activists before 1960.

The Autobiography series consists of Archies autobiographical works, which document his service in World War I and his family life and career. The series shows his interest in making new generations of Victoria residents aware of their citys history and aware of World War I history. Records include typed manuscripts, clippings of Archies published articles, photographs including photograph albums, diaries, scrapbooks, war medals, and ephemera.

Series consists of a copy of the Victory Edition of the British Columbia, published in 1946, that details the military record of members of the armed forces who lived New Westminster and Fraser Valley. There are two issues of "Fragments on France" by Captain Bruce Bairnsfather. Bairnsfather was the British Army's cartoonist during World War One. There is a copy of the King's Message to the Royal Air Force dated Nov. 11, 1918 and a booklet entitled, The Third Battle of Ypres, containing aerial photos of the battlefield.
The fonds consists of a navigation record and of a map which describe the 1945 Hamburg Bombing Operation.It also includes articles describing the events occurring during the Hamburg Operation as well as congratulatory letters addressed to William Kuchma for his distinguished flying medal. Taylor, Ernie W.Collection consists of copy negatives and copy prints of images from Mr. McConnell's album that pertain to his service at R.C.A.F. Station Boundary Bay, and a photocopy of the entire album made in 1983. The album records Mr. McConnell's service in the R.C.A.F. from March 13, 1941 to November 3, 1945. The captioned images document the kind of training men received under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan, and some of the action McConnell saw overseas. Included are class photographs, photographs of air crews and aircraft and places visited on leave, aerial views of Boundary Bay Airfield and Delta, and newsclippings that record bombing runs and the fate of friends in the airforce.
