The Vancouver Maritime Museum Archives collection consists of archival records donated to the Vancouver Maritime Museum from a wide variety of sources over a period of fifty years since the museum opened. Some of the archival records were originally processed and filed as the Library "ephemera" collection. Fonds consists of one typed manuscript (45 pages) written by Walter Anchikoski describing the various logging camps, logging practices, people and places where he worked. It includes excellent descriptions of the places where he worked and the logging practices of the 1950s.

The records of the Hail Insurance Committee include minutes of committee meetings, 1949-1950. The records of the Mutual Hail Insurance Company primarily consist of minutes of the Board of Directors meetings and annual general meetings; correspondence, filed with the minutes; the First Annual Report (1950); the 1951 corporate by-laws, as amended in 1953; and a few pamphlets on the topics of crop and hail insurance.
