Chart is of the mouth of Esquimalt Harbour. Fonds includes Barnes' photographs of Victoria and Esquimalt are and a mock battle in Beacon Hill Park (Victoria).

Most photos are formal shots of William Ferry but one series relates to his military service, including photographs of soldiers in Whitehorse ca. 1940.
