The fonds consists of material relating to the professional and personal life of Louise Spratley who played an important role in the West Vancouver community as editor of the Lions Gate Times, special assistant to BC Federal Cabinet Minister the Hon. Jack Davis, freelance journalist, and consultant for the District of West Vancouver. The fonds also includes material relating to one of Louise's sisters, Hilda Cryderman, a B.C. teacher who gained national status as a strong advocate of women's rights and issues, and was a member of the Order of Canada.

J. Lewis Sangster fonds

This fonds consists of photographs and postcards taken or collected by J. Lewis Sangster during his time spent in New Westminster, during his time traveling and during his time spent overseas during World War I. Sangster developed a large number of the photographs himself, in a small cellar in his home that was converted into a darkroom. The fonds has been divided into three series based on content: Sangster Family, Military, and New Westminster Subjects. Included in the Military series, there is a collection of Canadian Official postcards published by the British newspaper The Daily Mirror, which Sangster collected during his time serving in World War I. The family series consists of photographs taken by Sangster of his family members, as well as pictures that Sangster received from extended family members.

The fonds consists of records on the Chinese Nationalist Party affairs, including certificates of appointments, minutes of a 1947 meeting attended by representatives from western branches of the Chinese Nationalist League of Canada, the NWBCNL work and financial reports, as well as work and financial reports received from the Chinese Nationalist League of Canada. Published material, such as Writings Mourning the Death of Sun Yat-sen, and Government by All the People which was translated into Chinese, is part of this fonds.The fonds consists of two series: Records on Nationalist Party Affairs, and Published Material.

Fonds consists primarily of scrapbooks and photograph albums compiled by Gwen Anderson or received from various sources and all related to Henry Anderson's political career, and to the Andersons' involvement in community organizations and events in Richmond. The scrapbooks and albums document Richmond's growth and development during Anderson's time in office, and reflect the commitment both Henry and Gwen Anderson felt toward their community. Also included in the fonds are memorabilia related to Anderson's time in office, including slide photographs of various Richmond scenes, pamphlets related to events he and his wife attended, and a sound recording of opening ceremonies at the Richmond Imperial Oil service centre. These appear to have been set aside by Gwen Anderson. In addition, the fonds includes one file of ephemeral items, such as Ladner ferry tickets, unmarked ballot sheets and a building permit, and three oil paintings given as gifts to the Andersons. Fonds is arranged in four series: 1. Scrapbooks and albums; 2. Paintings; 3. Reeve Anderson memorabilia; 4. Ephemera.
