Through their museum and library, the RHHS acquired and stewarded records documenting the history of Riverview Hospital, the British Columbia School of Psychiatric Nursing, and the history of psychiatric care in British Columbia.

British Columbia. School of Psychiatric NursingThe collection consists of colour photographs and negatives of the Miss Coquitlam Pageant and related events from 1986 to 1988. The photographs feature the donor, Deborah Smyth, who was Miss Congeniality in 1986. The collection also includes some news clippings and a VHS tape containing a recording of the 1986 Miss Coquitlam Pageant.

Includes a report on chain of title of various local mining companies and council minutes relating to Fred Taylor's role as negotiator of the whistle's return to Nanaimo. Also includes two photographs of Fred Taylor and Mayor Gary Korpan with whistle.
