Includes a photocopy of Miss Cameron's travel diary for August of 1901 containing a day-by-day account of her boat trip down Okanagan Lake to Peachland. Accompanied by her uncle W.F. Cameron and her cousin by marriage Hattie Keating, Mary's travel diary recounts their drive from Vernon to Okanagan Landing, their rowboat journey from the Landing to Cameron's Point, a stop in Kelowna and the Mission, and their final stop in Peachland. Along with the original diary pages is a hand printed transcript.

Also included are copies of the official telegram announcing his death in April 1916, the Vernon News obituary and article, a letter from the army chaplain and the official registration of Donald Seaton's final resting place.

The appraisal, which was produced for the company by Philip E. Locke, Real Estate Appraiser for Mountain Appraisals Ltd., includes monthly financial statements, correspondence, reports, photocopied photographs, site analyses, assessments, estimates of value, cost estimates and various maps and plans of the company's cold storage centre.

The records have been arranged into chronological order and are accompanied by explanatory notes by Dan Studybaker in regard to who is writing, what they were writing about and reasons for particular events.

The series includes 32 notebooks, which Alice periodically sent to relatives in Ontario, containing her daily observations on the area, its settlement, the people she met, and her daily activities. The journals detail Alice's life from the time of her arrival in the Spallumcheen in 1891, through her courtship, marriage and life with Harold Parke, as well as follow the settlement and evolution of the townships of Vernon, Spallumcheen, Armstrong, Coldstream and Enderby.
