Collection consists of textual records that tell of a Kispiox legend and its manifestation on a traditional pole; an accompanying photograph of the pole complements the narrative.
The fonds consists of audio recordings of Weisgarber compositions or performances (1957-1999); musical scores, drafts and sketches (1941-1996); and research materials generated or accumulated by Weisgarber in the preparation of an unpublished biography of Aurelio Giorni, a manuscript entitled “Flute Music of Zen,” and an article "The Honkyoku of the Kinko-Ryu: Some Principles of its Organization" (1968). It also consists of the family and personal records, including correspondence, of Elliot, his wife Beth, and their family.

Activities, topics, and events documented include Garland’s establishment of SFU’s dance program; course development and instruction, including early telelearning education; independent and university choreography work; university and dance community service; presentations and writing; education and employment; and some of her early life. Records include notes, course syllabi, copies of clippings and reviews, performance programmes, reports, proposals, publications, correspondence, photographic materials, and sound and moving image recordings.

Society for the Furtherance of British Columbia Indian Arts and CraftsThe fond consists of material relating to the personal life of West Vancouver arts philanthropist Kay Meek. The material includes two scrapbooks compiled by Kay Meek that contain photographs, postcards, newspaper clippings, magazine articles, and brochures. The fonds also includes one drawing of the Gertrude Lawson House.
Meek, KayFonds consists of records documenting the programs and activities of the Radio Society / CiTR (including DISCORDER), including textual records and sound recordings of a variety of programs, radio plays, campus events, public service announcements, photographs of the radio studio and from different events, and advertisements produced by the Radio Society for broadcast on its station (CYVR/CiTR) or affiliated radio stations. In addition, the fonds includes recordings of interviews conducted on behalf of the Alma Mater society relating to its art collection. Fonds also consists of materials related to the administration of the radio station including information about licensing, executive meetings, policies, job descriptions, and staff training.
University of British Columbia. Radio SocietyThe fonds consists of photographs, transparencies, negatives, prints, slides, textual records and objects. Contents of the fonds primarily reflect First Nations cultures in British Columbia between 1960 and 1980, including the Haida, Coast Salish (formerly Burrard Reserve), Kwakiutl (Kwakwaka'wakw), Gitsegukla and Ans'pa yaxw (Kispiox) nations. Notable First Nations personalities and artists documented include Chief Dan George, Gerry Marks, Henry Hunt and Norman Tait. Contents also include: B.C. landscapes such as Gwayasdums (Gilford Island), Klemtu, Mamalilikulla and Uchucklesaht; First Nations children; First Nations exhibits, totem poles and installations at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and for the National Museum of Ethnology in Osaka, Japan. The original accession was arranged in series according to Carter's published works which focus on specific localities, communities, individuals and subject matter, with additional series related to Carter's photojournalistic work and personal recordkeeping added in 2019 when an accrual was made to the fonds.
