Fonds consists of the business records of the B.C. General Development Syndicate Ltd. from 1910-1922. Includes a report (1922) containing all legal and financial documents needed to transfer receivership of the Syndicate's holding to J.T. Mutrie. The report was compiled by Crease & Crease barristers, on behalf of Messrs Hoare, bankers of London and representatives of the syndicate's English shareholders. Anxious to receive repayment on loans and debentures made to the syndicate, the shareholders voted to put the syndicate into receivership. The documents within the report date from 1910-1922, and have been organized, numbered and bound together. Although the majority of the report focuses on the financial status of the Stepney Ranch (the principal holding of the syndicate), the report also contains mortgages, debentures, financial statements, and memos concerning many of their other properties and holdings. Fonds also includes a blueprint of the Stepney Ranch, with possible subdivisions marked in red.

Community Centre Hill AssociationFonds consists of the business records of the Glover Rice Hardware Co. from Jan-June of 1912. Includes a hardbound ledger divided into three sections containing a list of all customer accounts, the individual customer credit accounts, and the company's general revenue and expenditures. The company's general financial accounts, which include entries for initial capital, wages paid, merchandise purchased, duty and freight costs, and all accounts payable and receivable, are found on pp.1-29 and 91-94. The customer credit accounts, which consist of the customer's name, date of purchases, payments on account and account balances, are found on p.117-268. The ledger abruptly ends in June 1912 with notations about being "transferred to L.L. ledger".

The records, which pertain to all three of his real estate, notary public and insurance businesses, include a letterbook of correspondence, and financial ledgers containing both business and personal accounts.
Costerton, Clement FisherFonds consists of the personal records of Simon Dodd Ord for 1895. Includes personal correspondence from family and friends during his time as ranch hand at the Coldstream Ranch. The letters from his cousin Tibbie, sister Katherine, and uncle Nicholas all contain news and gossip of family and friends in England and South Wales. Some concern over his lack of communication, an accident he suffered on the job, and his dismissal from his job are expressed. Accompanying his uncle's letter is a bank draft from the Bank of New South Wales. Fonds also includes love letters to Simon from a young woman named Loosie, who lived at the Guisachan Ranch in the Mission area. Of particular note is that they were conducting their 'long distance' courtship in secret.

Dunwoodie, Merlin C.Fonds consists of the records of Mrs. R.H. Urquhart during her tenure as chairman of a sub-committee of Women's Regional Advisory Committee from 1942-1943. Includes correspondence to and from Mrs. R.H. Urquhart in regards to the sub-committee's activities. The majority of the correspondence is from the secretary of the WRAC in Vancouver, Mary Hurrell, and concerns many of the projects that the sub-committee was involved with. Includes information on the distribution of Blue Books, the establishment of a price control board, the establishment of a federal Rations Board, and the possiblity of a national housing survey.

Includes a draft copy of the organization's constitution and by-laws. Typed, with handwritten changes and notations, the constitution outlines the organization's objectives, its area of influence, membership clasification and eligibility, regulations for conducting meetings, rules of voting, and the duties of organization officers. The document is unsigned and unsealed. Fonds also includes an organizational flow chart showing the society's heirarchy.

Includes three patient admission registers, listing the patient's name, sex, age, registration number, marital status, date of admission, country of birth, present residence, occupation, religion, degree of education and general staff remarks. Register 1 includes admissions from 1948-1963, register 2 is from 1963-1976, and register 3 includes 1976-1982.
Dellview HospitalFonds consists of the administrative records and documents of the Oyama Community Club from ca.1913-1988. Includes correspondence, minutes, financial records, constitution and by-laws, recorder's records and various pieces of ephemera which detail the administration of, financial status of, and community projects participated in, by the local club. Of particular note are the documents detailing the amalgamation of the Kalamalka Agricultural Association and the Oyama Agricultural Association into the Oyama Community Club in 1937-1938.
Oyama Community ClubFonds consists of the business records of the Canadian Fire Insurance Co. from 1912-1923. Includes a policy register journal containing the listing of policies sold to various individuals and businesses. The register lists the policy number, the name of the policy holder (the assured), policy terms, policy dates (from-to), the amount of insurance being issued, the % rate and premium amounts. In many cases, a tissue copy of the original policy has been glued to the register pages in lieu of handwritten entries.

Includes three daily account books (1892-1894) and one credit account ledger (1893-1897). The daily account books list the buyer's name, the quantity and type of product being purchased, prices, and the form of payment (cash or credit account). The credit ledger contains the detailed credit accounts of individual customers, and lists dates of purchases and payments on account, balances, and credit standings (good, bad or overdue).

Data collected includes the max/min temperatures, hours of sunshine, precipitation, atmosphere, wind and snowfall. Newspaper clippings containing the published version of this information are scattered throughout the journal. Entries also include some family and farming notes, historically notable events, and general remarks. Statistics for Nov.1914 - Mar.1916 are found within a small notebook enclosed within the large weather journal.
