The fonds consists of photographs and one recognition form recognizing service in the Canadian expeditionary forces in World War I. The majority of the photographs are stored in photo albums and document Hubert Blenkinsop's early life in England, his time spent on a farm in the Chilco region of British Columbia, his service in the Canadian Expeditionary Force in World War I, and his married life and family. Later volumes of the photo albums were presumably compiled by Winsome Blenkinsop and document holidays, vacations, places of residence, parades, buildings and construction sites in Victoria.

Cridge (family)Fonds consists principally of operational records which document the bidding for the games and planning and execution of facilities, sporting events, accommodation, transportation, food services, accreditation, security, ceremonies, cultural and entertainment events, communications, media relations, marketing and fundraising activities and protocol. The records are arranged in 247 series and consist primarily of textual documents of all sorts (correspondence, minutes, reports, planning files, etc.). A large image bank (Series 1) documents many aspects of preparation and execution of the games, and the CBC Host Broadcaster's file of videotapes (Series 2) represent the moving images and sounds of the games which were available to domestic and international broadcasters. Administrative records such as accounting, legal and personnel records were not turned over to the City Archives due to their confidential nature.
