The fonds consists of records including correspondence, reports, minutes of meetings and memoranda generated by the Faculty of Law Dean's Office between 1945 and 1985. Records document the administrative and operational responsibilities, activities and interests of the Faculty including the teaching of law, curriculum development, relations with the legal community, cooperation and liaison with other law schools and UBC faculties and departments, the actions of various faculty and university committees and general administration.

Guy Palmer fonds

The fonds consists of 6,066 35 mm negatives of dress rehearsals of major UBC theatrical productions between 1961 and 1988. There are also some images of productions staged during summer school, as well as by the Extension and English departments (1954/55), and alphabetical and chronological listings of UBC productions between 1954 and 1988. The fonds also includes copies of programs from productions at the Frederic Wood Theatre (1964-1991).

Harry Adaskin fonds

Fonds consists almost entirely of materials created or acquired by Harry Adaskin over the course of his life and career, and includes the manuscripts for his autobiographies, correspondence, scripts for radio broadcasts and lectures, newspaper clippings, concert programmes, photographs, films, and audio recordings. Also included are annotated copies of Adaskin's two autobiographies: A Fiddler's World (published in 1977), and A Fiddler's Choice (1982). Some correspondence addressed to his wife Frances after his death is also included. The fonds is organized in the following series: Autobiographies, Hart House String Quartet, Harry and Frances (Marr) Adaskin Concerts, "Musically Speaking" Scripts, New York Philharmonic Broadcasts, "Tuesday Night" Scripts, Miscellaneous Writings, Correspondence, and Audio Tapes. In addition, the fonds includes programmes of performances of the UBC Players' Club (1928-1935) and the UBC Musical Society (1923-1933).

The fonds consists of two series - Publications and Arts I. The first includes original and copy edited typescripts for three of Ross's books: Lord Kames and the Scotland of His Day (1972), The Correspondence of Adam Smith (1977), and William Dunbar: A Critical Study (1981). The Arts I series consists of minutes, correspondence, reports and printed material arising from the establishment and assessment of the program.

Institute of Oceanography fonds

The fonds consists of miscellaneous files from George Pickard's office (1949-1974), including records from the Canadian Committee on Oceanography (1960-1972). The bulk of the records are composed of departmental files including correspondence, grant material, and financial records. There is also a comprehensive set of oceanographic log sheets containing data collected between 1951 and 1978.

International House collection

The collection consists of correspondence, printed material and clippings which document the early history of the International House movement on campus in the early 1950s. At that time, William Black was acting as faculty advisor to the International House Committee.

James D. Campbell fonds

The fonds consists exclusively of incoming correspondence from writer George Woodcock to Campbell in his role as co-editor of Atropos. With his letters, Woodcock also included four typescript poems and an essay on Simone Weil that were published in Atropos. Woodcock also sent Campbell at typescript copy of his unpublished play "The Floor of the Night".

Jean Coulthard fonds

The fonds consists of Coulthard's incoming correspondence, financial records, biographical information, printed material and clippings documenting her involvement in the Canadian and International music communities as advocate, educator and composer. Also included are original manuscripts of Coulthard's compositions as well as published and unpublished sound recordings of performances of her work. In addition, the fonds contains scrapbooks assembled by Coulthard's mother, Jean Robinson Coulthard between 1898 and 1929, family photographs, and a photograph album compiled by her father, Dr. Walter Coulthard, depicting the Rossland area (ca. 1902).
Fonds arranged into two sous-fonds: Jean Coulthard sous-fonds and Coulthard family sous-fonds. Jean Coulthard sous-fonds arranged into ten series: Correspondence (1946-1998), Financial and Legal (1948-1998), Biography (1950-1998), Programmes (1943-1995), Publications (1955-1993), Press Clippings (1929-1994), Manuscripts (1945-199?), Sound recordings (1942-1995), Miscellaneous (1898-1995), and Photographs (1894-1975).
