Includes 3 general accounts payable and receivable ledgers (1936-1941, 1941-1958, 1950-1956), customer and supplier account ledgers (ca.1938-1954), and a company appraisal (1976). The appraisal, which was produced for the company by Philip E. Locke, Real Estate Appraiser for Mountain Appraisals Ltd., includes monthly financial statements, correspondence, reports, photocopied photographs, site analyses, assessments, estimates of value, cost estimates and various maps and plans of the company's cold storage centre.

Fonds consists of the personal records of Simon Dodd Ord for 1895. Includes personal correspondence from family and friends during his time as ranch hand at the Coldstream Ranch. The letters from his cousin Tibbie, sister Katherine, and uncle Nicholas all contain news and gossip of family and friends in England and South Wales. Some concern over his lack of communication, an accident he suffered on the job, and his dismissal from his job are expressed. Accompanying his uncle's letter is a bank draft from the Bank of New South Wales. Fonds also includes love letters to Simon from a young woman named Loosie, who lived at the Guisachan Ranch in the Mission area. Of particular note is that they were conducting their 'long distance' courtship in secret.

Includes the Association's record book containing the names of Vernon and District Oldtimers, as well as the Association's minutes from Feb.- July of 1941. The minutes document the Association's objectives, guidelines for membership, and activities. Some of the more prominent projects the Association was involved in include the establishment of an outdoor checkerboard play area, the proper storage of oldtimer relics, picnics, banquets and the documentation of Oldtimer names, birthplaces, and dates of arrival in the Okanagan.

The records have been arranged into chronological order and are accompanied by explanatory notes by Dan Studybaker in regard to who is writing, what they were writing about and reasons for particular events.
