Harris family fonds

The fonds consists of correspondence of the Harris family, principally that of Martha and Dennis Harris, memoirs, journals, business records of Dennis Harris and family memorabilia. Fonds also includes a survey book of Dennis Harris for a CPR survey at an undetermined location.

The fonds consists of records created and accumulated by ;Joe Garner predominantly in the course of his employment with the Canadian Pacific Railway. There are a few records relating to Mr. Garners interest in the C.P.R., and ephemera from the White Rock area, including the photography studio called Garners Studio where Mr. Garner worked along with two of his sons. Within the fonds there are six series: correspondence, menus, photographs, passes and cards, supply lists, and ephemera.
