The fonds consists of correspondence generated in course of business along with invoices and inventories. Some correspondence, such as that of Kathleen Raine, includes extended exchanges beyond that required for business purposes. Additionally, some manuscript material acquired by the business is included: i.e. Patrick Creagh, Derek Mahon, and Patrick McCartan's typescripts of letters from W. B. Yeats and Oliver St. John Gogarty.

The collection consists of material relating to the fortieth anniversary issue of the magazine. Included are two copies of an advertising brochure; page proofs for the contents pages; and galley proofs of the poetry pages. Some of the poets included in the brochure do not have their work appear in the issue, others not in the brochure are added.

The collection consists of two manuscripts:-- "The Fathers' Indian Mutiny Letters, 1857 - 1859" which consists of Xeroxed, typed transcripts of letters from J. H. Wyatt, writing from India, to his wife, Jane, "Jeanie" in Aberdeen. There are 77 letters plus a note: "Maude's Battery at the Relief of Lucknow 25 Set. 1857. By Lt. Col. M.E.S. Laws. OBE. M.C. R.A. (ret'd.) Taken from the R.A. Journal, July, 1953", 6 pp. The second is "Military Memories: Part I. First World War,1914-19; Part II. Mesopotamia, Egypt, Turkey, 1919-23; Part III. Royal Air Force, 1923-28; Part IV, Second World War 1938-1945 by W. F. A. Preston, Major late Royal Artillery, Newmarket, Ontario, 1965." 137 pp.

The fonds consists of a photocopy of Couchot's diary, 1808-1813, which includes recipes, poems, and an essay. Also included are copies of letters and documents which were enclosed. The original diary is in the possession of the donor of this fonds.

The fonds consists of a wash drawing of “R Southey Poet Laureat”.

The collection consists of a typewritten letter to Alan Brilliant (Unicorn Press), together with its envelope. In the letter, he mentions Dudek, Gnarowski, Siebrasse, and Gabrielle Roy. Also included is a copy of a mailer for Everson's book “The dark is not so dark”, with Everson's handwritten instructions inside.

The collection consists of two handwritten letters to his wife, Jeanie on personal matters, together with one envelope. There is also a handwritten letter to an unknown man telling him he cannot supply him with a copy of one of his books, but is supplying a photo.

The fonds consists mainly of the diary of Lieutenant Thistle, Area Intelligence Officer, Prince Rupert, B.C. (Dec. 7,1941-June 30, 1942). In the diary he mentions the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the consequent U.S. entry into the war. He later refers to the effect this event has upon defence operations on the northern B.C. coast and mentions the "roundup" of Japanese fishing boats. Also included in the fonds is a copy of a report that he and Major Dow sent to their Officer Commanding, on Feb. 6, 1942. They have it marked "Secret". Dr. R.H. Roy published an article based on the diary in B.C. Studies (No.31, Autumn 1976).

The collection consists of a typed carbon shooting script of "Utlaginn" (Outlaw), in a black binder, and a typed and bound shooting script of "Land Og Synir". Both scripts are in Icelandic.

The fonds consists of the holograph diary of Brigadier Murphy regarding his experiences with the 1st Canadian Armoured Brigade during World War II. The fonds also includes a carbon transcript of the diary.
