Committee on Medical Economics of British Columbia fonds

The fonds consists of records of the Committee on Medical Economics of BC and records accumulated and used by the Committee originally created by the Committee on Economics (College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC), the Committee on Economics (British Columbia Medical Association), the Committee on Economics (Canadian Medical Association), and the Health Insurance Committee (College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC). Fonds contains minutes, reports, correspondence, memoranda, membership lists, fee schedules, medical service contracts, studies and statistical summaries and analyses, publicity files, newsletters and bulletins, and reference reports and publications relating to economic issues of the medical profession in British Columbia and Canada, including participation in pre-paid medical plans and responses to government proposals for hospital and health insurance schemes. Mary McAlpine fonds

The fonds consists of correspondence, photographs, sound recordings, and subject files produced by McAlpine (formerly known as Mary McAlpine Dodds) in the preparation of her biography of Ethel Wilson. Correspondents include Ethel Wilson, Wallace Wilson, Margaret Laurence, Beverly Mitchell, Nan Cheney and Dorothy Livesay.

Nan Cheney fonds

The fonds consists of 71 holograph letters from Ethel Wilson to Cheney, as well as correspondence from Wallace Wilson, Mary [Dodds] and Dorothy McNair. There is also correspondence between Nan Cheney and various artists, including Emily Carr, between the years 1938 and 1984. Cheney's subject files on Canadian artists are included in the fonds, along with newspaper and periodical clippings, memorabilia, photographs and manuscripts.
