File contains a 1905 letter of recommendation from John Oliver, Secretary for the Board of Trustees, Delta School; a letter from the Burnaby School Board to acknowledge Miss Forrest's application for a teaching position and acceptance in 1906; a letter advising Miss Forrest of a raise in 1914; and a letter of thanks and appreciation for her service at the time of Miss Forrest's retirement from teaching in 1941. An envelope is also part of the file (1920).

File contains a journal kept by John and Helen Honeyman in which they kept record of household expenses at the Eden, Manitoba, farm and, beginning January 1, 1896, at the farm in Delta at Gulfside near Port Guichon. The entries list such expenses as groceries, dry goods, hardware, clothing, school supplies, trees and seeds, and entertainment. Farm expenses were kept separately and list equipment and hardware, worker's wages, seed, and threshing wages. The journal also lists revenue from butter sold in 1884.

The series consists of correspondence, receipts, and a War Charities Act registration form for the Ladner Dugout. Records document the handover of the Ladner Dugout's assets to Delta Branch No. 61, Canadian Legion, in 1945.

The fonds consists of 37 mounted photographs from an album, as well as 5 loose photographs. The photographs were likely taken by Edward Fawcett between 1894 and 1902 when members of the Fawcett family were establishing themselves in British Columbia. The photographs consist of family members and homes, friends and recreational outings in Victoria, Delta and Vancouver; interior and exterior shots of the Victoria drugstore; and scenes of travelling through the mountains by train. Several photographs show early activities and scenes in Ladner, particularly the winter flood of 1895.

Series consists of reports submitted to the shareholders at the annual meeting of the British Columbia Packers Association. Included in the annual report is the Directors' Report, the General Manager's Report, and the Auditor's Report. The Director's Report presents the balance sheet for the previous year. The General Manager's Report describes the operations and results of the business of the Association including canneries in operation, market conditions, improvements to plants, condition of its fleet of steamers, comments on fishing strategies and enhancements, and a financial summary.

Series consists of materials collected by Martin Keeley, and others, during his time as Executive Director of the Friends of Boundary Bay. The materials were generated from both his home in Point Roberts as well as the offices in Ladner, B.C. and Point Roberts, Washington.

Moving image items include two movies, one regarding shorebirds in the state of New Jersey, and another focused on the B.C. Wetlands. Both were thought to be used by Martin Keeley for research purposes while he was the Executive Director of the Friends of Boundary Bay.

Sound recording items include three audio tapes, one that was unable to be read, a second that features a discussion regarding logging in Point Roberts and Delta, and a third that is labeled as a "Whatcom County Council" meeting.

Bell family fonds

The Bell family fonds is arranged in three sous-fonds: Edith Bell sous-fonds, Edward Bell sous-fonds, and Harry Bell sous-fonds. Edith Bell's records include diaries, scrapbooks and photographs of family and community events as well as records pertaining to her membership in various organizations including the Imperial Order Daughter of the Empire. Edward Bell's records consist of business papers, particularly land records and wills. Harry Bell's records are personal records related to the Bell family. Through photographs, cartographic material, and textual records, the records document not only the Bell family, but much of the community of Delta. Edith Bell's records provide insight into Delta social affairs and families, while Edward Bell's business records reveal economic and social change as it is documented in land transactions.

The fonds consists of photographs and records of Bertha Reynold's family and her activities as teacher, secretary of the British and Foreign Bible Society, and historian for the Delta Museum Society. The fonds contains Delta Pioneer Record Sheets for 93 families in Delta, B.C. They list the names of Delta families and their members. Information includes: dates of births, location of birth, date of marriages, location of marriage, date of burial, location of burial, grandchildren, and reminiscences. Also included are newspaper articles containing additional information on some of the families, and photographs of family and street scenes, mostly in Delta. The fonds also contains miscellaneous records of Ladner families and a notebook of newspaper clippings of the Delta Board of Trade (1934-36). Family activities on the farm are documented in photographs. The fonds also consists of six notebooks containing minutes, clippings and literature pertaining to the British and Foreign Bible Society from 1936-1977.

Colour photograph of two very large blowup props that may have been used by the Fraser for Life interpretive programs. The photograph may have been taken in Point Roberts. There is a woman in the bottom left of the corner that may be helping to blow up the iceberg and seal props. The photograph was taken during the winter because the ground is covered in snow.

Series consists of records that were obtained from the Brunswick Cannery site after is was operated as a fishing camp for the Imperial plant at Steveston (1930-1939). After 1939 the buildings were reopened and used for net and boat storage and local Japanese fishermen and their families resided in some of the buildings along with other fishermen and a caretaker. Records contain information regarding residents and fish tallies between 1941-1942.

Series consists of log books recording the daily operation of tug boats used in the B.C. Packers' oyster operation, mainly the M.V. East Delta, M.V. E.F.N., Togo No. 1, and M.V. Jervis Queen. Major contents include destination and time on each course, weather conditions and nature of work. The boats were largely used to tow scows loaded with oysters tot eh plant in Delta, and to position empty scows over the oyster beds. At low tide the empty scows would land near the beds to which the workers would walk and harvest the oysters. Full scows were then floated back to the plant. The "East Delta" was used by Mr. Christoperhson to travel to other oyster operations, and became a second home for John and Grace after the closure of the plant in Boundary Bay.
