The fonds consists of documents relating to the stranding, floating and subsequent sale of the sealing schooner Florence M. Munsie of Victoria, B.C. (1905), including correspondence between Hans Blakstad, owner William Munsie and Lloyd's Insurance Agents. Fonds also contains documents relating to the 1916 Royal Commission on the claims made by Pelagic sealers.
