The fonds consists of a minute book containing full records of all meeting and membership of the Board of the Yale and New Westminster Pilotage Authority, 1879-1904, and of the Vancouver Pilotage Authority, 1904-1920. Also, there are papers inserted in the book: printed pilotage bylaws, clippings, correspondence, a copy of a memorial to the Governor-General, bank statements, printed Notice of Mariners re: B.C. Pilotage (1919, Ottawa), printed Order in Council re: establishment of Pilotage District of B.C. (1919, Ottawa), and a photograph of the Commissioners and Pilot of the Vancouver Pilotage District 1879-1916.
