The series consists of scrapbooks that contain relevant news, exhibition and publication material pertaining to the life and works of Paul Rand.
The Paul Rand Fonds contains greeting cards created by the artist, original plates/stamps, numerous slides, transparencies, photographs, two scrapbooks, and important biographical documents – including the artist’s official Change of Name certificate. Note that the two scrapbooks contain publications and photographs that have been excluded from the Publications and Photographs series. Most of the material contained within this fonds was accumulated and gifted by Mrs. Paul Rand.
Rand, PaulThe series is comprised of Paul Rand’s artwork insurance documents from various companies; consignment documents from ArtCore Consultants Limited; and documents concerning lenders fees for the use of artwork in gallery exhibitions.
The series consists of publication material relating to Paul Rand’s involvement in gallery exhibition catalogues from the Vancouver Art Gallery Bulletin, The Beaver magazine, and the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. The series also includes newspapers publications addressing Rand’s work; personal notes relating to exhibition catalogue publications; and an Arts Events Calendar publication. An exhibition publication for the artist Jock Macdonald is also included within the series.
The series consists of correspondence between Paul’s wife Helena Rand and gallery curators and directors regarding art exhibitions. The series also includes a letter to Paul Rand from artist Jock Macdonald; invitations from the Vancouver Art Gallery and the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria to their exhibitions; and a newspaper photocopy of a related gallery exhibition that was attached to an invitation from the Vancouver Art Gallery.

The series consists of an envelope holding personal photographs of Paul Rand, Helena Rand and an unidentified person at a gallery exhibition; personal photographs and Polaroids of Paul Rand’s paintings while on display at an unknown gallery; and professional photographs of Paul Rand’s artworks.
The series consists of collectors’ lists of those who own or owned Paul Rand artworks. The series also includes the owners address lists; invitation lists for people who have loaned Paul Rand’s work for exhibitions; and a notebook indicating the exhibitions, titles, year and people who have purchased the artwork of Paul Rand.
The series consists of Christmas, greeting and general cards which display the paintings of Paul Rand. The series also includes 32 postcards depicting the image "Coal Diggers" by Paul Rand; and a good luck card that was placed into a folder with two photographs of Paul Rand.
