This fonds consists of 14,764 color, and black & white photographs and negatives either loose or in photo albums ; 3,616 color slides ; 35cm of sound and moving images (including 3 - 16mm color films, 3 mini DVs, 6 CDs, and 19 VHS video cassettes); and 1.26m of textual records.

Collection consists of 3 series of material relating to the Oike family. The first series consists of payslips received by Kyusuke Oike in Port Hammond, B.C., around 1917. The second series consists of photographs of Douglas Masaru Oike logging in Kelsey Bay, B.C. in the mid-1970s, and the third series consists of an oral history interview with Douglas Masaru Oike.

The fonds consists of 26 certificates of discharge issued by the Board of Trade (U.K.) and one letter of recommendation from Commander Thomas.

The Pacific Coast Terminals Co. Ltd. fonds consists of records relating to the incorporation of the Fraser River Dock & Stevedoring Co. and Pacific Coast Terminals Co. Ltd., investment records, miscellaneous administrative records, insurance records, records related to purchasing services and goods, as well as property leasing/renting records and records relating to the storage and handling of customer goods.

The fonds consists of black and white copy prints of personnel, equipment and operations at the Ladner Lumber Mill, their outfit and the Savage's outfit. Also contains photographs of Philip Quelch and friends at leisure, many group photos, photographs of Ladner buildings, the ferry, Ladner's Landing, the Ladner War Memorial, and the dance hall at Point Roberts.

The collection consists of photographs depicting people, events, industry (including sawmills and oil refineries), and the built and natural environment of Port Moody, Coquitlam, Ioco, and surrounding area. Many of the photographs in the collection were originally collected by the Coquitlam Historical Society, which disbanded ca. 1971.

The fonds consists of log book of W.J.S. Pullen on the HMS Falcon (1855) and Cyclops (1856-57), with an extract from the Master Attendant and Conservator of the Port [Bombay] to the Commissioner of Salt and Opium (1860). Fonds includes photographs of HM ships, whalers, St.Paul's Church (Esquimalt, B.C.), and fishing boats at Masset, B.C. Fonds also includes an oil painting of W.J.S. Pullen, partial plans for HMS North Star, Porcupine and Termagant, "The Pullen Records" (transcriptions of historical records concerning W.J.S. Pullen and T.C. Pullen in their expeditions to the Arctic) and ephemera, including a typed history of the SS Beaver.

The fonds consists of records of the R.B. McLean Lumber Company and its operations over a 50-year period and records of the McLean Brothers Timber Company at Qualicum Bay and Union Bay and the McLean and Sons Lumber Company of Cumberland, B.C. The fonds includes the following files relating to the activities of these companies: personnel, administration, equipment, supplies, lumber shipments-sales, sawmilling, logging, real estate, and farming.

The fonds consists of photographs depicting miners and their wives at the Kelowna Exploration Company's Nickel Plate Mine at Hedley, B.C.

The fonds consists of photographs depicting people, buildings, and views of Hedley, B.C., and of mining at the Kelowna Exploration Company's Nickel Plate Mine.

The collection consists of photographs of Revelstoke area (including Rogers Pass, Big Bend, Glacier, Arrowhead, Three Valley, and the Upper Arrow Lakes) depicting industry, forestry, transportation networks, sports and recreation, community events, individuals, and organizations.

Fonds consists of three plans indicating the workings of the Louden-Wakelem slopes and Carruthers slopes of Wellington #9 mine from 1949 until 1964. The latest is incomplete but does include a manuscript schematic drawing of Nanaimo mine locations. Copies of Mr. Carruthers miner's certificates, copies of newspaper articles written about Mr. Carruthers upon his retirement and his textbooks on mining are also included. A number of these are from the International Correspondence School (ICS). Also included are two Special Rules booklets that outline the rules and regulations of Western Fuel Company mines in Nanaimo and descriptions of various mine jobs (shotlighter, bratticemen, loaders etc.).

Fonds consists of a manuscript, in question and answer format, about coal mining written by Thomas Robertson. Fonds also includes copies of clippings from Mrs. Robertson's scrapbook. Clipping topics include: Ripple Rock, mine rescue competitions, and family events.

The fonds consists of S.A.F.E. minutes, share certificates, reports and reference material. The fonds also includes minutes and reports of the Salmon Arm Farmers' Exchange.

The fonds is divided into 175 series and consists of correspondence, minutes, resolutions, bond and share certificates, financial and operation reports, leases, contracts, employment records, licenses, ledgers, blueprints, photographs and one map.
