Biographical history
Ida Banfield (nee McAllister) was born in Seattle, Washington, and came to Victoria in 1919, settling in Esquimalt in 1922 where her father operated a confectionery. Ida McAllister married George Banfield of the Royal Canadian Navy in 1934 and they had four children. Ida Banfield was a life member of the Kiwaniannes.
