        George Home was active in labour politics in British Columbia and Canada for many years. During the 1950s he served as Secretary-Treasurer of the British Columbia Federation of Labour, and in 1960 was appointed Director, Political Education Department, Canadian Labour Congress. He published many articles, including articles on political education programs.
