    Biographical history

    The Hillcrest Employees' Association represented employees of Hillcrest Lumber Company located at Mesachie Lake, BC. It's object was to promote the welfare of its members at a time of sickness or distress and to make donations to charitable organizations in an amount of up to three hundred dollars in lieu of collections around the mill and woods operations. When Hillcrest shutdown the Association terminated and the last meeting was held in October 1968.

    Custodial history

    The fonds were donated to the Archives by John Padjen who served as Secretary - Treasurer to the Association.

    The fonds consists of documents relating to the business of the Association and consists of 5 series that contain constitutions; financial records; minutes; memberships and benefits.
